Welcome to the wonderful world of composition. 

Naomie Jean-Pierre is a Haiti-born writer, mentor, and educator. She is a visual artist whose specialty in fiction, poetry, and children’s books have explored and investigate topics on the black body, form, and critical race theory. She earned her undergraduate degree in English from Howard University.  She holds an MA Literature degree from the City College of New York in conjunction with an international certificate in American Studies from the University of Paris 7, Diderot. Her work has been featured in Mud Season Review, The Lily Review, Fiction Magazine, Noble Gas Quarterly and more. She was nominated for a 2018 Pushcart Prize for Short Fiction. Today, she lives in Atlanta and teaches English at Gwinnett Technical College.
